The mood: Milan in the seventies.
The shoes: Refined sloping platforms with flared heels, chunky heeled kiltie loafers and flats in a textural melange of velvet, suede, mink and astrakhan fur. The palette was a sophisticated mix of the era’s heady hues: olive green, eggplant, chestnut and merlot.
The Verdict: This grown-up take on disco tropes had hedonistic luxury and displayed that instead of resting on salable laurels, the brand can still explore platform shapes in desirable new ways.
