Kanye West Says Adidas Is Making A Million Pairs Of Yeezys This Year

Kanye West is at it again on Twitter. After a few days of silence, West has addressed a handful of topics, including his buzzed-about trip to the Ikea headquarters in Sweden on Tuesday and his Yeezy Season 2 collection featured in the new issue of CR Fashion Book.

Perhaps most importantly, West said, “Adidas is making a million Yeezys this year, opening up new factories.” West also mentioned a meeting he had with Robin Nowicki, who works at digital product studio Us Two and has helped develop the Yeezy site.

West also expressed that he is excited to be able to offer the same quality of product as he did in 2015 but at half the price.

With regard to his trip to Ikea, West said he was there “up late designing” and was “super inspired” by his visit.

As for the spread in the latest CR Fashion Book, which features models wearing Yeezy Season 2 clothes and custom Gianvito Rossi heels, West thanked editor Carine Roitfeld and called her a “visionary.”

He also congratulated his close friend Virgil Abloh on his fall ’16 collection for Off-White, which Abloh showed in Paris on Wednesday.
