Kristen Bell Gets Patriotic in These Kenneth Cole Kicks

Kristen Bell put her best foot forward on Tuesday, sporting red, white and blue shoes for Election Day.

The actress posted a photo on Instagram, writing, “My shoes today, that I will wear often following this madness. A reminder that the left cannot exist without the right, and vise versa. To move forward, the left and right must work together.”

Kenneth Cole‘s “The Voter” collection is specially made to order and highlights the brand’s partnership with Rock the Vote, the country’s largest nonprofit and nonpartisan organization encouraging young people to participate in the election process.

The stars and stripes shoes retail for $280 and are hand-painted by artist Ben Smith.

Designer Cole, who is known for his involvement with social causes, shared his reaction to the election results. “Remember tomorrow morning that your clocks were just set back 50 years. Sleep in,” he said on Instagram.

Donald Trump was elected the 45th president of the United States, with Hillary Clinton conceding to the Republican nominee early this morning.

Clinton said in her concession speech, “And to all the little girls who are watching this: Never doubt that you are valuable and powerful and deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world to pursue and to achieve your own dreams.”

Earlier this morning, Trump gave his victory speech, saying, “I want to tell the world community that while we will always put America’s interests first, we will deal fairly with everyone, with everyone — all people and all other nations. We will seek common ground, not hostility; partnership, not conflict.”
