Under Armour Announces Special Collection
The Baltimore-athletic giant is joining the fashion week spotlight with a special show at the end of the week. The new show will highlight its athleisure, fashion-driven line called Under Armour Sportswear, designed by Tim Coppens.
Jimmy Choo Turns 20
Iconic brand Jimmy Choo is hosting a major birthday bash on Sept. 8 to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Among the big names attending: Mary J. Blige, Virgil Abloh, Amber Valletta, Sasha Pivovarova, Milla Jovovich, Lexi Boling, Taylor Hill, Jasmine Tookes and Xiao Wen Ju.
Tommy Hilfiger Throws A Carnival
Once again, American-designer Tommy Hilfiger is going big for fashion week. The designer will present a see-now, buy-now collection and collaboration with fashion-it girl Gigi Hadid at New York Fashion Week on Sept. 9. Look for carnival rides and state-fair-worthy food at the South Street Seaport Pier 19 and half an audience of ready-and-willing consumers. The pier will be open to the public on Sept. 10 from noon to 9 p.m.
