Pierre Hardy‘s latest men’s collection has landed. Shown during Paris Fashion Week market, the designer unveiled new boot shapes and continued his sneaker push for fall ’16.
If one thing is for sure, there’s never a shortage of styles to choose from in Hardy’s collections — and considering he splits his time also designing shoes for Hermès, the large selection here is an impressive feat indeed.
Amongst the highlights, Hardy introduced a new cowboy boot style — but, yes, a Pierre Hardy take — in refined suede and tonal stitching. Seasonally-pointing shoes included Chelsea boots with shearling lining, as well as a sturdy Nubuck lace-up boot with wooden midsole and rubber sole.

The brand’s sneakers, a favorite choice with the street style set, included suede high-tops with calf piping, as well as sportier low-top runners in its signature geometric cube print. White styles had colorful leather lining. Laceless slip-ons were done in an unexpected green satin.
Dressier styles in the offering included white laceless derbies with Goodyear stitching, as well as burgundy leather or patent loafers with stitched vamps. Taking into account the usual flash and awe of his collections, the designer was apparently feeling a tad subdued this season. It worked out in his favor.
