22 Bold Printed Shoes For Spring

We at Footwear News are avid supporters of statement shoes, and one of the easiest ways to amp up your footwear wardrobe is with vibrant prints. Luckily, the spring ’16 market features a number of printed shoes that will give your look some oomph.

Whether you’re a heels or sneakers gal, colorful prints elevate the season’s latest silhouettes. And the good news? The trend is available in a wide range of price points, from $100 sneakers to $1,000 sandals.

Standouts include Manolo Blahnik’s update of its signature Carolyne pump, reworked in a paint-splattered cork material. Christian Louboutin also used cork and applied a multicolored geometric print overtop.

Floral motifs were also huge for the season. (Florals for spring? Groundbreaking, we know.) The prints were refreshened via unexpected shoe shapes, such as Marques ‘Almeida’s lace-up flat with square toe. Paul Andrew’s pointy slingback made use of floral imagery in a luxe jacquard.

Fun sneakers for spring include Diemme’s plaid patterned high-top, which features a modern zip front. Zara’s kitschy patchwork slip-on is an affordable alternative.
