Sarah Jessica Parker Serves Shoe Shoppers at Bloomingdale’s

Sarah Jessica Parker was in her element acting as a sales associate at Bloomingdale’s Tuesday.

The shoe designer for SJP Collection made an appearance at the New York City shop, where she met with consumers to help them shop her shoe line. The star was spotted on the sales floor, surrounded by boxes and bending down to help her customers find the right fit.

FN spoke to a few of the fans in line, including one woman who had just purchased three pairs.

“Her being a female and making shoes for females is a really fun way to get that fun and edgy fashion shoe. I went with a fun green shoe, a classic black stiletto and the glitter Mary Jane so I can spruce up an outfit,” said Sabrina Di Maggio. “I think it’s great that she’s willing to come here. She really takes care of this brand as if it’s one of her children. She cares a lot about the brand and what her consumers want.”

The Mary Jane look that Di Maggio purchased, the Tartt, has been a hit for the brand, selling out on Zappos Couture in several hours.

Another guest, Jennifer McEneaney, saw Parker’s post on Instagram and wanted to come meet her. “She’s such a fashion icon herself, even before ‘Sex and the City.’ I’m going to try and find a pair for work or for my vacation soon,” she said.

Rebecca Foakes, from London, is new to the city. “I moved to New York eight months ago, probably because of ‘SATC.’ I regularly look at her shoes on the Bloomingdale’s website,” she said. “The designs go with the show.”
