Selena Gomez Just Got a New Fashion Gig

Selena Gomez is set to be the new face of Coach.

The brand announced the partnership today, and it will feature Gomez in Coach’s ad campaigns and on its social media channels. She’ll also work with the Coach Foundation, and collaborate with Coach executive creative director Stuart Vevers on designing a piece for fall ’17.

“I am so excited to work with Coach and love the clothes and accessories designed by Stuart Vevers,” Gomez said in a statement released by Coach. “I am especially looking forward to getting to know the Coach team as well as becoming involved in the foundation’s support of Step Up.” The Los Angeles-based organization supports girls in under-resourced communities.

Gomez has plenty of experience with high fashion. The 24-year-old has appeared in an ad campaign for Louis Vuitton and has often attended the French fashion house’s runway shows in Paris.

Coach has been making waves recently with its new flagship in New York that features a 12-foot dinosaur made from handbags, and the brand also put on a 75th anniversary runway show showcasing its pre-fall 2017 women’s and fall ’17 men’s collections.
