10 Statement Shoes To Liven Up Your Spring Wardrobe

Now that the winter temperatures are fading away faster than we cay say “sandal weather,” it’s time to dust off your trustee spring footwear styles. The only problem? You have nothing to wear — or, if you’re like us, you have plenty to wear but are in the mood for something exciting and new. Luckily we’ve got you covered with a number of statement shoes that will liven up your wardrobe.

The spring ’16 market offers a variety of fun styles to experiment with. The style mandate is to shy away from the basics – you likely have that covered in your shoe closet – and go for high-impact styles.

Monse’s striped pointy flat immediately caught our eye. The black and white print will add a graphic element to a simple outfit — with just a dash of whimsy via its fringe pompom. Dear Frances’ blush suede mule — a major trend and color for the season — stands out with its Lucite heel detail.

If you’re more of a sneaker gal, we suggest Sophia Webster’s pastel low-top style. The colors feel fresh for spring but will provide that comfort you’re looking for. Loeffler Randall’s metallic espadrille is equally as comfort-minded, but its low-cut rounded toe feels new and fresh.
