The Top 5 Moments From The Yeezy Season 3 Show

It was hard to know what to expect from Kanye West‘s Yeezy Season 3 show at Madison Square Garden. Leading up to the event, West teased a few photos of the collection and still didn’t seem to know what he would be naming his new album.

But on Thursday night, West certainly did not disappoint. Here, we highlight some of the top moments and lines from the evening:

Lamar Odom arrives with the Kardashian family. Lamar Odom, who suffered a severe overdose in October, appeared for the first time in public. The former NBA player and ex of Khloe Kardashian came out with West at the beginning of the show looking healthy and received applause from the audience.

Naomi Campbell makes a surprise appearance. Thousands of models stood on and around two podiums wearing the Yeezy Season 3 collection, but there was one surprise guest who stole the show. Campbell appeared on one of the podiums in an all-black ensemble. The veteran model, who also just appeared in the Balmain spring ’16 campaign, rocked the stage with her signature smoldering expression.

The Kardashian family’s Balmain outfits. It’s clear that the Kardashian/Jenner family knows how to make a statement, and the Yeezy show was no exception. The family’s friends, Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rousteing and fashion editor Carine Roitfeld, helped dress them in white and pastel pink. In an Instagram post, Kim Kardashian West wrote that Rousteing created all the outfits in just one week. Even two-year-old North West wore a white fur jacket like her mom. Kendall Jenner’s beige suede pearl-embellished boots were a standout.

The crowd sings “F&%k Nike.” One of the most unique parts of the show was West’s willingness to interact with the crowd. At one point, a group in one section started a “F&%k Nike” chant, which prompted West to play his song “Facts,” which disses his former partner Nike. Some also tried to get a Michael Jordan dis chant going, but West shut it down, saying “Michael Jordan is our boy. Respect Jordan.”

Kanye West says he’ll lower the prices of his collection. West has been saying recently that he plans to lower the prices of his collection to make it more accessible, and it looks like he’ll have to keep his word after telling that to the crowd at MSG. “Adidas promised they are going to lower prices,” he said. He also reminded the crowd that his Yeezys are “award-winners” and that although he gets “misunderstood as an artist,” his are the “number-one shoe.”
