Kanye West was reportedly admitted to the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles on Monday night. His hospitalization comes less than 24 hours after he canceled the remaining dates of his Saint Pablo Tour. Sources have cited “exhaustion” as the reason for the admission.
The Los Angeles Police Department stated that it responded to a disturbance call at 1:20 p.m. PT on Monday at a home in West Hollywood, Calif. A spokesperson said the fire department had responded to “an unspecified medical aid request” with “an adult male, described as medically stable, who was taken to an area hospital for further assessment.”
Neither department has identified the person involved to respect medical-privacy laws. There was, however, no suggestion that any crime had been committed.
Meanwhile, fans of the Grammy Award-winning rapper and fashion designer have begun tagging social media posts with the hashtag #PrayForKanye. The news follows West’s mid-concert rant over his rift with Jay Z and Beyoncé, talk of running for president in 2020, plus a series of Instagram posts featuring items from the Maison Margiela archives.

Tickets for the remaining Saint Pablo Tour dates “will be fully refunded at point of purchase,” a spokesperson for West told E! News.
