Coachella Day One: Celebrity-Spotting And Cool Shoe Styles

Comfort never goes out of style, especially at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

For the celebrities who made the annual pilgrimage to the star-studded extravaganza, which launched Friday in Indio, Calif., mostly flat footwear and boho-chic ensembles were the trends.

At Calvin Klein’s “In the Desert” party, “Dope” actress Zoe Kravitz had on sparkling Saint Laurent Babies 40 Mary Jane shoes with triple straps. The footwear retails for $995.

Joining Kravitz at the event was model Hailey Baldwin, daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin, who wore Vans SK8 black and white high-tops, available for $55 on the label’s website.

Sophia Richie, Nicole Richie’s younger sister and daughter of hitmaker Lionel Richie, rocked Rihanna’s Fenty x Puma slides at the 1OAK and Up & Down pool party with friends.

Featuring a faux fur strap with satin foam backing and Puma logo embroidered across the top, the slide-ons will be available in Puma stores, Puma.com and select global retailers for $80 on April 22.

Emily Ratajkowski hosted an event at Avalon Hotel and Bungalows wearing her go-to Stuart Weitzman Sandals, which retail for $398 on the label’s website.

The model-actress had on the sabbia aniline heels when she arrived for Coachella by helicopter on Thursday, and also stepped out wearing the footwear for several appearances in April.
