Kate Middleton Anticipates Spring’s Arrival In Checked Skirt Suit And Gianvito Rossi Pumps

Kate Middleton stepped out Friday in London wearing a festive orange checkerboard skirt and top by British label Epinone. She paired the outfit with suede pumps.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge pursued their mental-health awareness initiative with a visit to London Wall. The royal couple visited the XLP project-mentoring program, which helps children and teens who are suffering from emotional challenges.

They met people involved with the facility and watched performances that were a part of the arts program.

On Thursday, the royals visited St. Thomas’ Hospital in London and met with Jonny Benjamin and Neil Laybourn. Benjamin, who attempted suicide in 2008, was saved by Laybourn.

While Middleton has taken more risks with her ready-to-wear choices in the last year, she has kept her shoe style classic. She spent most of last fall wearing Jimmy Choo’s Gilbert pumps to various outings. This year, shoe chose Rupert Sanderson for her first appearance of the year.

The Duchess of Cambridge paired the Sanderson style with a pale-blue bespoke Alexander McQueen coat and a Lock & Co. hat for festivities to mark the 75th anniversary of the RAF Air Cadets in London. She attended a service at London’s RAF church and met with cadets to mark the occasion.
