It’s well known that Kate Middleton isn’t afraid to repeat an outfit, sometimes even wearing her favorite items over and over again.
At a diplomatic dinner at Buckingham Palace on Thursday, the Duchess of Cambridge wore the same Jenny Packham custom gown she wore just over a year ago for the Chinese state dinner at Buckingham Palace. She switched up her tiara, this time wearing a different one belonging to the late Princess Diana. While we couldn’t see Middleton’s heels, we did notice that Queen Elizabeth II was wearing metallic pumps that peeked out from under her pearl-embellished gown.

While we normally see Prince William in a suit, this occasion called for more formal garb. William, along with his father, Prince Charles, and grandfather Prince Philip, each wore formal jackets and sashes that showed off their military medals. They also wore breeches and a garter attached and completed the look with patent leather shoes.
