Jessica Simpson is readying her own sneaker line. The star is adding active footwear to her shoe collection for fall ’16, following her launch of active apparel for the holiday season 2015.
Think “fun, feminine and modern” designs with bold prints and colors. The looks were designed to work for both the gym and the street, including lightweight designs with custom knit and mesh uppers, all featuring an EVA midsole and footbed.
The sneakers will retail for $69 to $89.
In April, Sequential Brands Group Inc. acquired a majority stake in the Simpson label. Camuto Group stays on as the footwear license partner.
Last September, Simpson and crew celebrated her brands 10 year anniversary. At the party, Simpson told FN, “active has been such a huge part of my life and to feel sexy while you work out, it’s the greatest thing I can give a woman.”

As for her secret to success, Simpson added, “When you create a brand or have a brand, it’s understanding women and who they are. There’s so many stages of life and I feel like I understand all of them.”
