Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello Joins the Diabetes Dance Dare

Fifth Harmony singer Camila Cabello is the latest star to join the Diabetes Dance Dare — a new social media campaign to raise awareness and funds for the American Diabetes Association.

The entertainer took to Twitter today and performed a dance to Rihanna’s hit “Work” and challenged musicians Ariana Grande, Diplo and Shawn Mendes to shimmy to help raise awareness and funds for the charity. It’s a similar effort to the popular ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, which went viral in 2014.

“#DiabetesDanceDare , dance and donate at http://diabetesdance.org !!! I nominate @diplo @ShawnMendes @arianagrande,” the singer captioned the dance video on Twitter.

She rocked a pair of towering platform booties in the clip. In June, the pop star and the other members of Fifth Harmony — Ally Brooke Hernandez, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen and Lauren Jauregui — were featured in a YouTube video for Candie’s summer promotions. The girls were announced as ambassadors of the brand’s fall campaign last year.
