Miranda Lambert Wears Emerging Label On ACM Red Carpet

The Academy of Country Music Awards always guarantees some fun shoe hits, but it’s especially exciting when a new designer hits the red carpet. Such was the case for Joyce Echols, a Houston-based women’s luxury designer who woke up and saw her shoes on one of country’s biggest names: Miranda Lambert.

Lambert wore Echols’ “Come and Take It” style in bright pink on the carpet. The singer won her seventh Female Vocalist of the Year award, beating out such notable names as Carrie Underwood and Kacey Musgraves.

Echols said she met Lambert’s longtime stylist Tiffany Gifford, and the two knew the collection could be the perfect fit for Lambert.

“We were so excited to see our collection on the ACM Awards‘ red carpet. We are huge fans of both Miranda and Tiffany,” Echols told FN.

Echols’ collection plays up the contrast between Southern toughness and femininity, turning to embellishments such as barbed-wire-inspired studs and cap toes with bows and rhinestones. The shoes are all made in Italy.

“My fellow Texan, Miranda, embodies the right amount southern sass for our ‘Come and Take It’ shoe. She wears it well,” said Echols.
