In October, Kanye West appeared at the “American Idol” auditions in San Francisco in front of judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr. — wearing Yeezy Boost 350s, of course.
On Monday night, the full clip of West’s audition was released. This is the 15th and final season of “American Idol.”
When West stands in front of the judges, Urban asks him where he’s from and what he does for a living.
“Originally a producer. I always wanted to rap but nobody really believed in me,” said West.
“I hope that works out, man,” jokes Urban.
West then goes on to sing his 2005 song, “Gold Digger.” Outside the audition room, West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, chatted with “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest. She told Seacrest she’s not nervous because she believes in him.
Meanwhile, on New Year’s Eve, West released a new song, “Facts,” which takes aim at his former partner, Nike, and claims that his Yeezy sneakers have surpassed Air Jordans in popualrity.
