It was only recently that Kanye West got an Instagram account, but until this weekend he hadn’t posted much.
We know he once had an affinity for going on Twitter rants, and this weekend he decided to go on an Instagram “rant” of sorts. West posted photo after photo of shoes, clothing and accessories. Many of the shots were blurry and looked vintage. Of course, West being West, he didn’t add any captions, leaving us to try to decode these on our own.
Upon a closer look, it becomes evident that the photos are actually catalog shots of items from Maison Margiela’s collections. (Margiela and West have collaborated in the past.) West posted one particularly recognizable Margiela item — the iconic split-toe boots.

Still, there could be multiple explanations for these photos. Perhaps he’s simply using Instagram as a place to share his inspirations. But he could also be hinting at another upcoming collaboration. Only time will tell.
