Adidas already made noise in the running market in 2015 with the release of the Ultra Boost, and continued to turn the heads of runners with the June drop of the AlphaBounce. For fans of the latter, a new monochromatic colorway is now available.
The Adidas AlphaBounce “Triple Black” — which is available now — retails for $100. If you want to grab a pair, you have to buy them from adidas.com.
The shoe is constructed with less stitching and minimal materials, and features the brand’s Bounce midsole — an EVA foam that Adidas states is engineered to provide a responsive and elastic running experience. The shoe — a neutral runner — is also very light, with the a men’s size 9 weighing in at 10.5 ounces.
The shoe features fused mesh upper with a textile lining gives these men’s running shoes socklike comfort and a modern look. BOUNCE™ midsole technology provides cloudlike, energy-filled cushioning for long-distance support. The shoe features a fused mesh upper for an adaptive fit, textile lining, socklike construction for a snug fit, and a grippy rubber outsole.
