Adidas Releases Busenitz Pure Boost Pro Sneaker

Adidas Skateboarding is celebrating a milestone, and it kicked off the festivities with a new sneaker.

The group, which is a division of Adidas Originals, released the Busenitz Pure Boost Pro Black sneaker to stores this week to mark the 10-year anniversary of its partnership with pro skateboarder Dennis Busenitz.

Busenitz first linked up with Adidas Skateboarding in September 2006. Over the years, the San Francisco native has worked with the brand to produce such styles as the Busenitz Pro, Vulc and the ADV, which Adidas claims set “new standards in performance footwear through their heritage detailing, superior craftsmanship and highly functional designs.” Most recently they crafted a limited-edition luxe look in Adidas’ German factory.

Their newest creation, the Busenitz Pure Boost Pro, draws on attributes from both the Busenitz Pro and Adidas’ Pure Boost running shoes. The lifestyle sneaker features a premium black suede upper with black embroidered detailing and gold accents. Underneath, there’s the oh-so-familiar white Boost midsole and a unique black outsole that appears to be carved into a graphic design.

The Busenitz Pure Boost Pro Black is available now for $130 through select U.S. specialty retailers and on the Adidas skateboarding website.
