Adidas To Reissue ’90s Era Gazelle Sneakers

Sneaker lovers who long for classics will be thrilled to learn that Adidas is relaunching its Gazelle sneaker in its early 1990s version.

The brand has announced that beginning on June 1, it will drop one-to-one reissues of the shoe in light gray, emerald green and a dusty blue. Adidas has taken care to stay true to the shoe’s original form, employing a vintage suede upper, off-white rubber sole and serrated leather three-stripes.

The shoe was first introduced in the 1960s and according to the brand has been embraced by “mod scenesters, the reggae crowd, to Britpop and grunge.”
