The playoff picture for James Harden and the Houston Rockets is bleak, sitting in the ninth spot in the Western Conference. But Adidas latest Rockets-themed releases may boost Harden’s play during the postseason push.
The renowned athletic brand unveiled two new Rockets-inspired colorways of its Crazylight Boost 2.5 today for the bearded baller, complete with Harden’s “13” branding on the upper.
The two colorways of the shoes, designed to complement Houston’s uniforms, come in “Home” and “Away” iterations. For the “Home” silhouette, Adidas split the upper with black and white, using red for accents including Harden’s branding and the heel tab. The shoe features a white midsole, and is completed with a red and white outsole.

For the “Away” colorway, the upper is split in half with the forefoot portion featuring red and the back of the shoe using a red to black gradient. The midsole is red and white, and the outsole is red.
The “Home” colorway arrives on April 29 and the “Away” colorway on May 14, both with retail prices of $130.
Harden is averaging 28.7 points, 7.5 assists and 6.3 rebounds per game this season. The Rockets travel to the American Airlines Center in Dallas to take on the Mavericks tonight.
