Adidas is following up on last week’s U.S. drop of the NMD_R1 sneakers with more colorways this weekend. The NMD_R1 sneakers had only been available at specialty boutique retailers prior to the March 17 launch at major U.S. retailers.
The all-white and all-black NMD_R1 sneakers feature an all-mesh upper. Both pairs have a white Boost sole. This drop is very similar to the Monochrome pack, but those styles had a sock-constructed upper, while this upcoming pack does not.

After the NMD sneakers sold out on March 17, those who weren’t able to get their hands on a pair will have another opportunity.

This week, Adidas also ran a three-day scavenger hunt leading to 25 pairs of NMD_R1 sneakers each day. L.A. Lakers guard Nick Young, photographer Atiba Jefferson and chef Roy Choi shared their five favorite spots in Los Angeles on the Adidas Originals Twitter. At the last spot, there were 25 pairs of hidden NMD_R1 sneakers, plus Adidas Originals by Monster headphones, an NMD notebook, an Adidas backpack and passes to an exclusive party that was held on Thursday night.
The shoes drop Saturday at select retailers and Adidas.com and retail for $120.
