Adidas‘ iconic three stripes are known all over the world, so the brand is paying homage to its universality with the new NMD Blackout/Whiteout Pack.
The pack features two NMD_R1 styles that have the phrase “The 3 Stripes” translated into several languages all over the upper of the shoes. One option is a black upper with white writing, while the other is a white upper with gray writing.
The shoes continue to feature the NMD’s signature EVA plug inserts, TPU heel and Boost midsole. The third shoe in the pack is the NMD City Sock done in a tonal gray colorway.
The shoes will be available Friday on Adidas.com and at select retailers. The brand has also said on Twitter that there will be a restock of some other NMD shoes, although it did not specify which ones. Each NMD release has sold out quickly since the initial launch in December.
One customer on Twitter also inquired as to whether Adidas would use its Confirmed app for this release. The brand said it would not, but that there would be a release on the app soon. In the past, the app has only been used for Yeezy releases.
