Adidas Brings Its Sponsored Athletes Together In Short Film

Adidas wants sports fans to know it’s a major player on all courts and fields of play. The brand’s latest effort to do so puts its star-sponsored athletes together in its latest TV spot, titled “Sport Needs Creators.”

The minute-long clip features appearances from the highest-profile athletes on the brand’s roster, including gridiron greats Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers and Super Bowl 50 Most Valuable Player Von Miller of the Denver Broncos (sporting a mean gold grill), four-time NBA All-Star James Harden of the Houston Rockets, 2015 National League Rookie of the Year Kris Bryant of the Chicago Cubs, and Manchester United soccer star Paul Pogba.

Aside from the proven professional talent Adidas has, the video also features some of its rising stars, such as Brandon Ingram of the Los Angeles Lakers, Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics and Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets.

The video shows how its athletes challenge the norms of how they’re expected to look and act by putting their personalities on display. The clip also tries to get athletes everywhere to embrace and utilize creativity in sports, according to the brand.
