Adidas’ EQT Support ADV Gets a New Look Thanks to Undefeated

Renowned West Coast-based streetwear retailer Undefeated is back with another collab sneaker enthusiasts will clamor for, this time working with Adidas on a classic silhouette from the 1990s.

The retailer chose to work with the Adidas EQT Support ADV, an updated iteration of the brand’s 1993 EQT Support. The Undefeated x Adidas EQT Support ADV arrives in all 10 of Undefeated’s stores on Oct. 8, with a global release at Adidas Consortium doors on Oct. 15. The shoe will retail for $150.

The shoe boasts a simple color palette, dressing the style in black and off-white. The upper — made of matte neoprene with leather overlays — is predominantly black, with off-white three-stripe branding providing contrast. Aside from the Adidas branding on the upper, off-white also appears atop the tongue. The materials on the upper are designed to give the shoe a socklike feel that also provides stability and flexibility. A somewhat hidden detail on the shoe is the heel support on the upper, which boasts a subtle camouflage pattern. The shoe is completed with a black midsole and outsole with off-white Adidas three-stripe branding.

For Undefeated’s last collaboration with Adidas — as part of the Adidas Consortium Tour — was the Sept. 9 drop of the Undefeated x Adidas Consortium Busenitz. According to the retailer, it was designed to make users feel as if they were venturing “from the Pacific seafront to the Mojave Desert.”
