Are ‘Royalty’ Air Jordan 4s Releasing in 2017?

After having a huge 2016 with styles such as the “Alternate ’89,” “White/Cement,” “Dunk From Above” and several premium releases, it looks as though the Air Jordan 4 is poised for another strong run in 2017.

Today, images were shared on Instagram depicting a black and metallic-gold take on the signature Michael Jordan sneakers, which debuted in 1989. Rumored to be named the “Royalty” Air Jordan 4, this colorway appears to use a black nubuck on its upper. Meanwhile, the Air Jordan 4’s trademark support straps have been accented with a shining gold finish, which also appears at the heel Jumpman branding. The look is finished off with a white midsole.

According to Instagram user @zSneakerHeadz, the Air Jordan 4 “Royalty” is set to release in January for a retail price of $190.
