Nike has already delivered a handful of shoes inspired by past Olympic moments and the upcoming games in Rio, but the first Olympic-inspired offering from Jordan Brand hasn’t hit shelves yet. The first shoe — which drops this weekend — is part of the label’s Metallic Pack, an homage to the medals Michael Jordan won during the games.
The Air Jordan 5 Retro OG “Metallic Silver” arrives on Saturday via SNKRS and will retail for $220. The shoe will also be available via nike.com in grade-school sizes for $160, preschool sizes for $80 and toddler sizes for $60.

Although Jordan only ever won gold, the first sneaker of the pack represents a silver medal and uses the shoe legendary designer Tinker Hatfield created in 1989 — inspired by fighter jets — as the medium. Just like the original, the new shoe boasts detailing including a reflective tongue and an icy translucent outsole.
The shoe boasts a black, metallic silver, white and fire-red color palette, with black consuming most of the upper and midsole. Metallic silver takes up the tongue and a portion of the midsole, with white making up the Nike Air branding on the heel and fire-red Jumpman branding on the tongue.
