Jordan Brand Athlete Blake Griffin Fractures Hand In Fight

Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin has been out with a quad injury, but now he’ll be out for much longer with a newly injured hand. According to multiple reports, Griffin fractured his hand in a fight with a team equipment staff member.

According to reports, the Jordan Brand-sponsored baller got into an argument in a Toronto restaurant that continued outside, with Griffin allegedly hitting the staffer multiple times. Reports state Griffin fractured his hand during the fight. The reports also state that the equipment staff member’s face was injured.

When playing, Griffin wears the Jordan Super.Fly 4, a flexible and lightweight court-ready shoe with a foam-backed mesh upper and low-profile cushioning. The shoe features the brand’s FlightSpeed technology for explosive liftoff, Nike Zoom Air unit for responsive cushioning, a compression-molded Phylon midsole carrier for stability, a solid rubber outsole with herringbone pattern for durability and traction and an Ortholite sock liner for a soft feel underfoot. The shoe retails for $150.
