Breanna Stewart is set to make her WNBA regular season debut with the Seattle Storm on Sunday, and Nike made sure she will have some heat on her feet when she steps on the court for the first time as a pro.
The Nike-sponsored baller will be wearing a player’s edition of the KD8 when she visits the Staples Center in Los Angeles to take on the Sparks. The shoe Nike has prepared for her features the Storm’s green, white and gold colors on its upper, with a black outsole and volt Zoom Air unit.

Stewart is familiar with the shoe, having worn the Elite iteration of it during her final season playing for the University of Connecticut — including the women’s championship game on April 5, when the Huskies beat the Syracuse Orange, 82-51. In the victory, Stewart scored 24 points on 7-of-17 shooting, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out six assists.
The Storm selected the 6-foot-4-inch forward first overall during the 2016 WNBA Draft. Stewart has four consecutive national titles and four tournament Most Outstanding Player awards on her résumé.
