With its latest collection, Brooks is boldly going where no runner has gone before.
Just in time for the winter running season is the limited-edition Brooks Galaxy Collection, which arrives in stores and online on Nov. 1. Each shoe in the pack will retail for $130. The line boasts the brand’s celebrated support shoe, the Adrenaline GTS 17, and its acclaimed neutral runner, the Ghost 9. The Galaxy Collection will feature colorways for men and women.
“With the Brooks Galaxy Collection, we were inspired by the dark night sky of winter and the awe-inspiring moment when light, time and space collide,” Shane Downey, global director of Brooks Running Company, said in a statement. “The deep sky represents endless possibilities, which we hope runners feel when they lace up their shoes.”
The shoes in the collection are executed with monochromatic uppers (representative of the darkness of the night sky and a backdrop for stars and galaxies to shine), with the galaxies shown on the pack’s multicolor midsoles.

On Oct. 21, Brooks dropped its New York City-themed Adrenaline GTS 17, dubbed the “Gray Lady,” with a retail price of $130. The shoe will also be sold at the Brooks Running Booth during the TCS New York City Marathon.
