Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Now Available In Kids’ Sizing

Converse first unveiled its Chuck Taylor All Star II in July 2015 — the first time the brand made a major update to its classic silhouette. Now, kids can get in on the fun. The brand announced on Thursday that it is offering the shoe in both high-top and low-top styles in kids’ sizing.

Available starting today on Converse.com, the shoes have several features that provide added comfort for an active summer. The Nike-owned brand has incorporated Nike’s Lunarlon technology, as well as a micro-suede lining.

The shoes are offered in blue, red, white, black with a white sole, and black-on-black. Each shoe also has monochrome matte eyelets.

Infant and toddler prices range from $35-$40, while youth and junior prices range from $45-$50. In addition to Converse.com, the shoes are available in Converse retail stores.

At last year’s Chuck II unveiling, Converse said that the updates made to the shoe were based on feedback from customers.

“As we assessed our customer base, we were hearing a lot more about their active lifestyles and the things they’re doing in their day-to-day,” said Damion Silver, Converse’s footwear design director for the men’s All Star. “We wanted to make sure we were engineering technology and comfort into this new style.”
