Creative Recreation Strikes Partnership Deal With Nick Jonas

Although celebrities love Creative Recreation footwear, none have been officially sponsored by the brand – until now. The fashion sneaker label has struck a deal with musician Nick Jonas.

Jonas, a longtime fan of the brand, would act as the face of Creative Recreation, according to a statement released today by the brand. He will spearhead key initiatives – including a capsule collection, designed by the singer himself.

“Our brand has maintained a great following among fashionable males,” said Jack Oerth, president of Creative Recreation, in a statement. “Nick is one of those rare celebrities who really crosses over and appeals to both young men and women. His collection will be a focal point as we seek to build our women’s business and continue to extend our brand into new retail channels.”

The brand said Jonas would be involved with its spring ’16 collection, with Creative Recreation highlighting his favorite silhouettes of the season, and follow-up with starring in its fall ’16 campaign.

Jonas is also slated to make an appearance and record acoustic tracks at Creative Recreation’s Sole Sessions, and he will meet with the winning fan of a soon-to-be-announced event created by Creative Recreation during his Honda Civic Tour: Future Now series of concerts with Demi Lovato this summer.

“I am looking forward to my collaboration with Creative Recreation, and to starting the footwear design process in creating shoes for my fans that are perfect for their wardrobe,” Jonas said. “It has always been important for me to be hands-on with any collaboration, and this project is no exception.”
