Jordan-Gifting High School Student Is the First Person on DJ Khaled’s ‘Wall of Game’

Hector Montez gave his teacher a pair of Air Jordans, and now he’s the first person to make DJ Khaled‘s “Wall of Game.”

In the second episode of the music mogul’s “We Know Game” video series with Champs Sports — shot in Khaled’s private Miami-based store — Montez was greeted by star NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers. After a discussion and checking out the sneakers and apparel featured in the store, Brown — with a recorded message from Khaled — asked Montez to be featured on the “Wall of Game.”

Khaled stated in the clip that he wanted Montez to appear on the “Wall of Game” because of how inspirational he is. The first addition to Khaled’s wall is a white football helmet with the letter “M” on it (for Montez), signed by the student.

In September, a video went viral of Montez (of the Lubbock, Texas-based Coronado High School) giving his teacher Thomas Walser a pair of the Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” as a thank you. After the video reached the masses, the student received a pair of the Air Jordan 12 “Alternate” from Nike in September and was introduced to Brown in late October.
