Ewing Athletics Revives Sport Lite Sneaker Style

Ewing Athletics is resurrecting a piece of the past. On June 22, the sneaker brand will rerelease its Sport Lite style for the first time. The cross training shoe, worn by NBA legend Patrick Ewing, debuted in 1993.

The high-top, priced at $100, will come in a black-and-gray colorway, emblazoned with Ewing’s signature on the side and his logo on the tongue and heel. The original Sport Lite sneaker featured breathable mesh inserts and a lateral support system. This revival style has been updated with black microsuede for a luxe look.

Also on June 22, Ewing will unveil two new colorways for its flagship 33 Hi silhouette. First is an all-white croc-print version that will sell for $120.
