Golden State Warriors Await News On Stephen Curry’s Injured Knee

Although the Golden State Warriors won Game 4 of their first round playoff series against the Houston Rockets on Sunday, the team suffered a loss when its star guard Stephen Curry limped off the court with an apparent knee injury at the end of the first half.

Curry — wearing a tonal blue, yellow and white colorway of the Under Armour Curry 2.5 — sat on the bench for the previous two games nursing a sprained right ankle, but he returned to the lineup Sunday for the road game at the Toyota Center in Houston with Golden State up in the series 2-1. The reigning NBA MVP scored six points on 2-of-9 shooting in 19 minutes of play.

Multiple reports state Curry suffered a sprained knee during Sunday’s game and will undergo an MRI today.

Despite Curry’s injury, the Warriors won the game 121-94 behind the play of Klay Thompson. The guard — wearing a predominantly blue with yellow and white accented pair of his Anta KT signature shoe — led the team in scoring, putting up 23 points and five assists. Coming off the bench with a big game was Andre Iguodala, who scored 22 points and dished out four assists in a black, gold and white pair of the Nike HyperLive. The team’s vocal leader, Draymond Green, dropped 18 points in the yellow, black and white Nike Zoom HyperRev 2016, also grabbing eight rebounds in the win.
