Hector Montez is proof that doing good for others will one day result in good things happening to you.
The Lubbock, Texas-based Coronado High School student presented one of his favorite teachers, Thomas Walser, with a pair of “Taxi” Air Jordan 12s in September as a thank you to all he’s done for his class. After a video of the gift appeared on Twitter and later went viral, Nike —inspired by the student’s act of kindness — gifted Montez a pair of the “Gym Red” Air Jordan 12s (also dubbed “Alternate”).
But the recognition for his generosity didn’t stop there.
Champs Sports gave Montez the opportunity to visit rap superstar DJ Khaled‘s private store in Miami yesterday — making him the first customer to shop in the store — where he was greeted by the NFL’s best receiver, Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
