Isaiah Thomas Revives Scoreless Game By Changing To Nike All-Star Kobe 11s

Scoreless in the first half of his game Friday against the Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas knew exactly what to do to get his mojo back.

The baller switched his shoes halfway through the game at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif., for a pair of Nike All-Star Kobe 11 Elite Low All-Star kicks. And just like that, he led his team to victory — winning 109-106 over Golden State, its first loss at home this season.

Thomas explained to ESPN that he had a feeling that the Nikes he initially had on weren’t going to help him score any baskets.

“Them other shoes didn’t have any buckets in them,” he said after the game. “I always know the All-Star Kobes will give me some kind of buckets.”

Nike’s Kobe 11 Elite Low All-Stars feature a green glow, black and Persian violet palette and marbleized rubber outsole. The sneakers were released Feb. 11 and cost $220.
