Reebok Reunites Jadakiss & Allen Iverson For Next Question Release

For the release of Allen Iverson’s signature Answer V shoe in 2001, the brand paired him rap star Jadakiss and created a blockbuster ad. With Iverson’s first shoe, the Question, now 20 years old, Reebok reached out to the rapper once again, this time for his style influence.

The Reebok Question “A5” arrives in stores Friday and will retail for $140. The shoes will be sold at retailers such as Jimmy Jazz, Footaction, Finish Line and Champs Sports, as well as via reebok.com.

The “A5” draws inspiration from the Answer V sneaker, according to Reebok, boasting a tumbled black leather and ballistic nylon upper, complemented by reflective silver piping and reflective silver on the iconic toecap. The shoe also features translucent red on the sole and Question logo on the heels near the collar. The shoe also features the letters “Y” and “O” on the heels, representing Jadakiss’ hometown — Yonkers, N.Y.

Reebok celebrated the launch of the shoe at the Entertainment Basketball Classic on Aug. 4 with Jadakiss and fellow rap star Cam’Ron at New York City’s legendary Rucker Park. Also in attendance was famed record producer Jahlil Beats and acclaimed Shade 45 radio host Sway Calloway.
