Reebok’s collaborations with rap star Kendrick Lamar have been received well by sneaker fans for the looks and the message behind them. The brand announced today it’s set to release the final installment of its Red and Blue collection with Lamar.
The Reebok Classic x Kendrick Lamar Classic Leather Lux will drop on Nov. 25 — Black Friday — in unisex and children’s sizes on reebok.com and limited global retailers. The shoe comes with a $160 price tag.

The rapper’s Classic Leather Lux boasts olive green premium leather on the shoe’s upper, which according to Reebok represents a Compton, Calif., saying: “mixing red and blue makes green,” a symbol that unity can inspire and encourage growth.
The hue is paired with red- and blue-embossed accents on the heel tabs, something Reebok said is Lamar’s way of showing the current divide between gangs and a call for neutrality. The look is completed with a classic gum sole.

“Similar to my collaborations with Reebok in the past, I want to create products that provide fans with larger meanings and messages — particularly ones that inspire unity and growth within communities and youth,” Lamar said in a statement. “In Compton, we have a saying that ‘mixing red and blue makes green.’ While ‘green’ is usually thought of in a monetary respect here, this shoe represents a new definition of ‘green’ — community growth. If we work together, we can break down barriers and prosper.”
