Ticket Prices Climb To $20K For Kobe Bryant’s Final Game

Kobe Bryant fans have one last chance to see him play, and some may have to resort to paying top dollar to watch the game live at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

As of 3:30 p.m. EDT, tickets for tonight’s matchup between the Lakers and the Utah Jazz are going for roughly the price of a new Honda Civic. Courtside seats for the game on StubHub are listed for as high as $20,000 per seat.

But seats close enough to touch Bryant on an inbounds pass aren’t the only tickets selling for inflated prices. Nosebleed seats positioned in the upper corner of the arena are listed on StubHub for $800. You’re not going to fare much better by looking on other ticket sale websites, either. On Ticket City, upper level corner seats start at $762, and private luxury box seats go for $15,504.

The best — and most affordable — seats to watch Bryant and the Lakers take on the Jazz may be your couch. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. PDT/10:30 p.m. EDT.

Although the outcome of the game won’t be determined for hours, what Bryant will wear on the court is already known. Nike confirmed the legendary guard will wear a black-and-gold iteration of his latest signature shoe, the Kobe 11.
