5 Shoes You Can Expect To See During March Madness

The most exciting time of the year for any men’s college basketball fan is here, with the round of 64 teams competing for a national title starts tomorrow.

While March Madness is a time for filled out (and busted) brackets, face paint in your alma mater’s colors, buzzer beaters and blowouts, the games won’t be without stellar sneaker moments. Top athletic labels including Nike, Under Armour, Jordan Brand and Adidas will have the latest and greatest on the feet of the athletes taking the court.

Nike has the most sponsored teams in the NCAA tournament, and will have undeniable heat on the players’ feet from the first round until the tournament comes to an end. Special edition colorways of the brand’s Kobe 11 and the KD8 have been spotted on many teams, including the Oregon Ducks.

But Nike isn’t the only brand to have its best current basketball silhouettes on the court. Under Armour has outfitted its sponsored teams, including the Utah Utes, in its latest signature shoe for NBA superstar Stephen Curry, the Curry Two.

Jordan Brand, although not sponsoring many teams in the tournament, have provided its latest signature shoe for Michael Jordan, the Air Jordan XXX, to some of its sponsored teams, including Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina.

Adidas also has a number of teams wearing its sneakers hitting the court, including top ranked Kansas. You’ll be seeing many team-specific colorways of the brand’s court-ready signature and team shoes during the tournament, including the 2015 Crazylight Boost.
