Mascavii Footwear aims to pull its community up by the bootstraps.

The brand recently released its range of luxury footwear that is “aiding in the fight to help recovering addicts,” according to founder Allen Mascavii, who works during the day as a drug addiction counselor for youths in Asbury Park, N.J.

The range features high-quality leather sneakers, including the Revenant, an all-black design with a snake-embossed outer shell and large lace rings. The Mascavii Blueberry is designed with a striking blue snakeskin-embossed outer shell, purple interior and white sole.

Available for pre-order online, the shoes cost $150 and ship in June.

Several other silhouettes are currently sold out.

A special-edition red genuine python skin model was released Monday for the label’s $1,000 pledge backers during its Kickstarter campaign that began in February and wrapped on March 15, successfully raising $12,345 to help fund production of the brand.
