NBA Playoff Kicks: Warriors Go Up 2-0, Mavs Stun Thunder

Although the NBA playoffs tipped off Saturday with blowouts, Monday night’s games had far closer finishes — and an upset with a shocking finish.

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry did not lace up his Under Armour Curry Two’s last night, as the superstar guard was sidelined Monday night with an ankle injury. Even without its reigning MVP guard, the Warriors were able to top the Houston Rockets on their home Oracle Arena court in Oakland, Calif. Klay Thompson led all Golden State scoring in the 115-106 win with 34 points in his signature shoe, the Anta KT, with Andre Iguodala coming off the bench to score 18 points in the Nike HyperLive and Shaun Livingston adding 16 points in the Nike Hyperdunk 2014.

The Toronto Raptors, led by center Jonas Valanciunas, tied their series with the Indiana Pacers with a 98-87 win at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Valanciunas dropped 23 points on the Pacers on 10-of-18 shooting in the Nike Air Audacity. Toronto guard Kyle Lowry added 18 points in the Adidas 2015 Crazylight Boost Primeknit.

The Dallas Mavericks rebounded from a 38-point blowout Saturday against the Oklahoma City Thunder by winning a nail-biter Monday night at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, when the referees called off a last-second put-back by the Thunder’s Steven Adams, giving Dallas the 85-84 win. Raymond Felton scored 21 points for Dallas in the Under Armour ClutchFit Drive 2, and Dirk Nowitzki added 17 points in the Nike Hyperdunk 2014.

Tonight, the Boston Celtics travel to Atlanta to face the Hawks, and the San Antonio Spurs will host the Memphis Grizzlies.
