Though the outcomes of the NCAA Final Four tournament will leave many fans divided, the sneakers were the big winners of the game.
The North Carolina Tar Heels and Villanova Wildcats have advanced to final NCAA championship match after defeating their competition with large margins on Saturday in Houston. North Carolina won 83-66 against the Syracuse Orange, and Villanova upended the Oklahoma Sooners, 95-51, the largest margin of victory in national semifinal history.

Nike’s official Jordan Brand account shared a close look at the Tar Heels’ Air Jordan kicks ahead of the big game on Saturday, captioning the snap: “Houston rotation #WEAREJORDAN.”
The Tar Heels, who count Michael Jordan as an alum, played in a variety of Air Jordan XX9, Air Jordan XXX and other selections from the label featuring the school’s Carolina blue-and-white color palette, as well as the Battering Ram mascot.

Syracuse Orange players had on Nike Kobe 8s with the team’s color detail on the logo, but freshman forward Tyler Lydon wore his new white and navy Nike KD8 kicks on the court.

Sharing a picture ahead of the game, he wrote, “Nike hooked it up #OrangeNation.”
The Oklahoma Sooners wore Nike Kyrie 2s in their school’s crimson and cream colors. Emotions were running high for forward Khadeem Lattin, who paid tribute to his late grandmother who died Wednesday with an inscription on his sneakers: “Brenda Fair.”
The Wildcats ruled the court in variations of Kobe 10s and 11s, featuring their blue and white colors.
The North Carolina Tar Heels and Villanova Wildcats will play for the championship on Monday at NRG Stadium in Houston. The game airs on TBS.
