New Balance Partners With Stack Velocity Sports Performance Centers

New Balance has a stake in many aspects of fitness, such as running, training, hiking and tennis. Today, it bolstered its presence in the training space by announcing a partnership with Stack Velocity Sports Performance Centers.

The Boston-based athletic brand and Stack announced today that New Balance is now the official footwear and apparel sponsor of all Stack Velocity Sports Performance Centers throughout the U.S.

”Our mission at Stack is to inspire and empower athletes. We are very excited to have New Balance joining us to support this mission,” Carl Mehlhope, SVP of integrated sales and partnerships, said in a statement. “Together, with their professional athletes, we will give millions of young athletes the ‘how to’ information to help them train to reach their sports performance goals.”

According to New Balance, the brand will outfit all Stack employees and work with the fitness centers to get athlete influencers nationwide in New Balance products. Also, its branding will be prominently displayed throughout the centers.

“We are excited about the Stack sponsorship, as it will not only extend the New Balance brand reach to the high school athlete but will enable us to work with Stack to develop training content with New Balance professional athletes in baseball, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, track & field, and hockey,” Alvin Chow, head of field of play global marketing for New Balance. “This content will be a key source of training tips and education for the high school athlete who wants to take their game to the next level.”

The partnership will also yield co-branded create content using Team NB athletes that will be featured on New Balance and Stack media channels, and the two companies will also collaborate on new training technologies and products.
