Nike has arguably the greatest back catalog of sneakers in the athletic footwear industry. On Thursday, the brand will drop another beloved shoe from the 1990s, an updated iteration of a running classic.
The Beaverton, Ore.-based athletic giant is set to release the NikeLab Air Zoom Talaria. The shoe, originally released in 1997, is one of the original running silhouettes to feature the brand’s Zoom Air responsive cushioning technology, which made its debut in 1995.
Made to give runners a comfortable ride, the Talaria features flex grooves and a bottom-loaded visible Zoom Air unit. Although the shoe is an updated version of the original, it does boast features from the original including suede overlays, a breathable mesh upper and outsole. For updates to the original, Nike added modern materials in the midsole and sockliner for better comfort.

The shoe also features updated materials in the upper, including a ripstop and rugged woven overlays for extra durability, and a leather collar for luxury.
Nike will retro some of the original colorways of the shoe, as well as introduce new color makeups.
The brand isn’t just busy releasing past favorites as of late. Nike dropped the LunarEpic Flyknit earlier this month, featuring an extended Flyknit collar. The shoe is available for men and women, and it retails for $175.
