Kobe Bryant’s days terrorizing opponents on the basketball court are over, but Nike is continuing to release hardwood-ready sneakers bearing his name. The next signature shoe for the Los Angeles Lakers legend is slated to arrive in stores this month.
The athletic giant today unveiled the Kobe A.D., the NBA icon’s first post-retirement signature shoe, which is scheduled to arrive in select retail stores and via nike.com on Nov. 21. The shoe will have a retail price tag of $160.

The shoe, according to the brand, continues the Kobe franchise’s legacy of lightweight, low-profile on-court footwear.
The Kobe A.D. features a Zoom Air unit in the heel, Lunarlon foam in the midsole, and is completed with a minimal rubber outsole (boasting micro-tread traction). The aforementioned components combined, Nike explained, gives the shoe responsive, flexible cushioning and maximum court feel.
The model also features a breathable mesh upper with Dynamic Flywire for lock down tough enough for quick changes of direction.
