LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are in the middle of a tough NBA Eastern Conference Finals series against the Toronto Raptors, and the colorway of his latest signature shoe release is appropriately named for what the baller is currently engaged in: battle.
The Nike LeBron 13 Elite “Ready to Battle” arrives in stores on Thursday and will retail for $200. The shoe will be available on SNKRS and via nike.com starting at 10 a.m. EDT.
The shoe boasts an aggressive, rugged look, using black for much of its upper and midsole. The shoe’s upper is predominantly black with reflect silver Swoosh branding on the forefoot and medial side. Its midsole is black with reflect silver speckles, and the shoe is completed with an icy translucent outsole. The LeBron 13 Elite “Ready to Battle” also features LeBron James branding on the insoles, and his signature sits on the middle of the tongue in reflect silver.
The Nike LeBron 13 Elite uses a pliable and durable Kurim cage that also incorporates Flywire cables for support and flexibility that a baller with an aggressive game needs. The style also boasts responsive hexagonal Nike Zoom Air units strategically placed for an enhanced ride and smooth transitions, a carbon fiber shank plate in the midfoot for added stability, a phylon foam midsole for stable cushioning, and a rubber outsole for multidirectional traction.
